Dr. Donghyuk Kim
Donghyuk Kim completed degrees and defended his dissertation from Yale University in May 2019. His experience lies with major fields in industrial organization, urban economics, and labor economics. He is completing papers on "Government Incentives and Firm Location Choices," "Determinants of Storefront Vacancies," and "State Competition for Firms within Regions."
Professor Kim began his work at Iowa State in August 2019. His work and interests fit our research objectives quite well, and he has initiated his research agenda on government policy, entrepreneurship and growth. He adds sorely needed expertise on economic development policy and the extent to which it attracts and retains firms.
